The Danger of Pharmaceuticals

Prescription drugs are not required for human health. The vast majority of prescription drugs are not compatible with human biology. Rather than working to support human biology, they manipulate the body's biochemistry to achieve a desired measurable result. In order for a drug to be approved as efficacious by the FDA, meaning that it is effective at accomplishing some measurable biochemical goal, it only has to be proven effective in 5 percent of patients in clinical trials. A recent survey of studies reveals that nearly all clinical trials produce results favorable to the company that sponsored them. Two different studies conducted by two different companies, using the exact same drugs for comparison, can differ completely in their conclusions. Thus, the primary determining factor of a positive drug trial outcome is the source of funding for the trial.

On June 30, 2006 the FDA announced a regulation that makes all drug companies immune to lawsuits due to pain and suffering (even death) caused by FDA-approved drugs. If it approves a drug as being safe, patients shouldn't have the right to sue drug companies for damages caused by those drugs, even if the drugs were approved with fraudulent data. New Jersey state court judge Carol E. Higbee characterized the FDA's new preamble as “contrary to the Constitution of the United States.”

Reported health problems associated with the use of pharmaceuticals include:

Antipsychotic drugs - may cause diabetes, but the FDA still allows their sale.
Statin drugs - damage the nervous system and the liver. Changes in diet, nutrition, and physical exercise will automatically lower your cholesterol with zero negative side effects.
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) - may cause s
evere harm to the liver.
Drugs for chemotherapy - may damage the heart, kidneys, pancreas, and liver.
Drugs for mental disorders and depression - may cause serious harm to the pancreas while disrupting normal blood glucose metabolism, ultimately promoting diabetes.
