Cholesterol & The French Paradox by Frank Cooper
Cholesterol and The French Paradox, is a book about cholesterol. It explains The French Paradox, and how the people in France stay healthy in spite of a diet rich in saturated fat and cholesterol, whilst a disproportionate number of health-conscious Americans are over-weight and at cardiovascular risk. The French eat twice as much saturated animal fat, in the form of cheese, butter, cream, and cakes but have only one-third (1/3) the rate of heart attacks. French people live longer too. The purpose of this book is to explain the important things that men and women can do about cholesterol, heart disease, and aging.
